Our Story
Hi, we’re Chase and Fernanda, the husband-and-wife team behind Shroombucha.
Shroombucha started at home, with two things we already loved: kombucha and functional mushrooms.
We were brewing kombucha for ourselves while also incorporating mushroom coffee into our routine for focus, energy, and balance. Eventually, friends and family started asking the obvious question:
“Why don’t you combine them?”
So we did.
What started as a kitchen experiment quickly became something we were genuinely excited about. We wanted to create a kombucha that was all of the above: refreshing, fruit-forward, and easy to enjoy, while incorporating functional mushrooms without making the drink taste earthy or medicinal.
After a lot of experimenting, tasting, tweaking, and sharing, Shroombucha began to take shape.
The reaction from the people around us made us realize we weren’t the only ones looking for something like this. People wanted a drink that felt better-for-you without feeling like a compromise — something flavorful, fun, and genuinely enjoyable to reach for.
Today, we handcraft Shroombucha in small batches, using organic ingredients, traditional fermentation, real fruit and flavors, and thoughtfully sourced functional mushrooms.
We care deeply about what goes into every bottle, but just as importantly, we care about what it’s like to actually drink it.
Our goal is simple:
Make wellness approachable, delicious, and fun.
We’re still growing, still experimenting, and still incredibly excited about what’s ahead. Whether you found us at a local market, heard about us from a friend, or stumbled across Shroombucha online, we’re glad you’re here.
Thanks for being part of the journey.

Why Functional Mushrooms?
Functional mushrooms have a long history of use and are increasingly being studied for the naturally occurring compounds they contain. We were drawn to them because they fit the same philosophy we love about kombucha: simple ingredients, traditional processes, and a little help from nature.
By pairing thoughtfully sourced mushroom ingredients with fermented tea, we get to explore a combination that feels both old and new — rooted in tradition, but still evolving with modern research.
For us, the goal isn’t to make kombucha feel medicinal. It’s to make something refreshing, approachable, and genuinely enjoyable that happens to include ingredients we find fascinating.
